On arrival in Gansbaai, you will be briefed about safety precautions on board whilst having a light breakfast.
The trip on the boat is between two to three hours, so you need some warm clothes (Children under 8 years are not allowed to dive but can be on the boat).
You are reminded to please take a “sea sickness” tablet 2 hours before the boat trip or on departure from your hotel.

Departure time from the hotel will be advised the night before, as communicated by the Shark boat company (weather permitting).
